Why I Stand Behind Beast Pharm
I've been using Beast Pharm since the early days. I've got their branding up in my gym. I competed at England's Strongest Man u80kg in 2019 and came back in 2024, and Beast Pharm products have been part of my training stack throughout.
This isn't a token endorsement. I've used most of the range personally and I'm going to tell you exactly what's worth your money and what each product actually does. Beast Pharm was founded by Eddie Hall (2017 World's Strongest Man, first human to deadlift 500kg), and the supplement formulations were developed by Rick from Strom Sports Nutrition, who knows his way around clinical dosing.
The range is deliberately tight. They don't make 47 different products with overlapping ingredients. Every product has a specific job, and the formulations use branded, trademarked ingredients rather than generic fillers. No artificial colours across the entire range.
Free UK shipping on orders over £25. Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 1pm on weekdays.
I earn a commission when you use my code CASSIDY — I'm transparent about that. But I was using and recommending Beast Pharm before I had a code. The partnership came because of genuine belief in the product, not the other way around.
Every Beast Pharm Product — My Honest Take
⭐ My Daily Driver
HYDRO — Electrolyte Powder
This is the product I use every single day without exception. HYDRO is Beast Pharm's electrolyte and hydration formula, and it's the one I'd recommend first to anyone asking "where do I start?"
The formula uses CocoMineral (coconut water extract) as its electrolyte base rather than just dumping in sodium and potassium salts. It also contains Rednite (standardised beetroot concentrate with 1.5-2.75% natural nitrate content), which converts to nitric oxide in the body and supports blood flow. Enovita grape seed extract adds antioxidant support, taurine supports muscle function, and cranberry extract rounds out the formula.
All flavours come as a red powder because of the beetroot and cranberry. No artificial colours are used. 60 servings per tub, which at my usage rate (one scoop every morning mixed into 500ml of water) lasts two months.
Why I rate it: Hydration is the most underrated performance factor in strength training. Dehydrated muscles cramp, joints ache, and your lifts suffer. I've tried LMNT, I've tried making my own electrolyte mixes, and HYDRO is what stuck because it tastes good, mixes clean, and the nitrate content from Rednite gives a genuine performance edge that plain salt-based electrolytes don't.
Pro tip: Add a scoop of Beast Pharm Creatine to your morning HYDRO. They recommend this combo themselves and it works. One drink, creatine and hydration sorted before you've left the house.
Price: Around £24.99 for 60 servings. That's roughly 42p per serving. With code CASSIDY that drops to about 37p.
Beast Pharm
HYDRO Electrolyte Powder — 60 servings, CocoMineral + Rednite beetroot. My #1 recommendation. Use code CASSIDY for 10% off.
BIG D — Daily Saturation Formula
BIG D is Beast Pharm's all-in-one daily performance supplement. The name is Eddie's humour (of course it is), but the formula is serious. It combines creatine monohydrate, beta alanine, betaine anhydrous, Peak ATP (adenosine 5-triphosphate), Wellmune (baker's yeast beta glucan for immune support), and AstraGin (for absorption).
The idea is that instead of taking creatine, beta alanine, and betaine separately, you get them all in one scoop. Warning: it will produce a tingling sensation from the beta alanine. This is normal.
Who it's for: If you want one daily supplement that covers your performance bases and you don't want to manage multiple powders, BIG D is the play. Especially if you're not already taking creatine separately.
Who should skip it: If you're already taking standalone creatine and adding it to HYDRO (like I do), there's some overlap. Pick one approach or the other.
BIG Z — Advanced Nighttime Formula
BIG Z is the sleep and recovery side of the equation. Take 3 capsules 30 minutes before bed. The formula contains magnesium gluconate and magnesium bisglycinate (two of the most bioavailable forms of magnesium), zinc citrate, Levagen+ (palmitoylethanolamide with LipiSperse technology for absorption), and Affron saffron extract.
Magnesium and zinc contribute to normal muscle function and protein synthesis. Magnesium specifically contributes to reducing tiredness and fatigue. The saffron extract (Affron) is a trademarked, clinically studied ingredient for mood and sleep support.
My take: Sleep is when you recover. If your sleep is poor, your training is suffering whether you realise it or not. I prioritise sleep as much as any supplement, and BIG Z is a clean formula without melatonin (which I prefer to avoid). The BIG D + BIG Z bundle saves you £5 and gives you the AM/PM stack.
STIM — Pre-Workout (High Caffeine)
STIM is not for the faint-hearted. 300mg caffeine per serving, plus citrulline malate (6g for blood flow and pumps), beta alanine (3.2g for endurance), tyrosine (1g for focus), juniper berry extract, sausage tree extract, and juglans walnut extract. Formulated by Rick from Strom Sports, who is known for making potent pre-workouts.
This was designed to compete with the hardest-hitting pre-workouts on the market without the crash afterwards. It delivers. The focus from the tyrosine and the energy from 300mg caffeine combined with the pump from citrulline malate makes for a serious training session.
Who it's for: Morning or afternoon lifters who want a genuine performance boost and can handle 300mg caffeine. If you're training heavy (deadlifts, squats, strongman events), STIM helps you show up mentally and physically.
Who should skip it: Evening trainers (take PUMP instead), anyone caffeine-sensitive, or anyone already consuming significant caffeine from other sources. Don't stack this with coffee.
PUMP — Stim-Free Pre-Workout
PUMP is the evening lifter's best friend. Same performance intent as STIM but with zero stimulants, so you can train at 8pm and still sleep at 10pm. The formula centres around L-citrulline (for nitric oxide and blood flow), betaine anhydrous (for strength endurance), taurine, epicatechin, CellFlo6 (green tea leaf extract), pine bark extract, and AstraGin for absorption.
Epicatechin is the interesting one here. It's a flavanol found in dark chocolate that has been studied for its effects on follistatin and myostatin, which are involved in muscle growth regulation. CellFlo6 is a trademarked green tea extract that supports blood flow and endurance without caffeine.
My take: I train in the evenings regularly, and this is what I use on those sessions. No caffeine means no interference with BIG Z later that night. The pump from the citrulline and CellFlo6 combo is noticeable.
WHEY — Protein Complex
Beast Pharm WHEY is a blend of whey protein concentrate (Lactomin) and whey protein isolate, delivering 21g of protein per scoop. Five flavours: Chocolate Fudge Cake, Strawberry Cheesecake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Banoffee Pie, and Cookies and Cream. 2.01kg tub.
The formula is straightforward. No proprietary blends, no unnecessary fillers. Whey concentrate and isolate, flavouring, sucralose, xanthan gum. Clean label.
My take: 21g per scoop means double-scoopers get 42g which is a solid post-training hit. The Banoffee Pie flavour is better than it has any right to be. If you're comparing to Myprotein Impact Whey on price-per-gram, Beast Pharm is a premium option but the taste and mixability are a step above.
CREATINE — 100% Micronised Monohydrate
There's not much to say about creatine monohydrate because there shouldn't be. It's the single most studied and proven supplement in sports nutrition. Beast Pharm's version is 100% pure, micronised (finer powder for better mixing), with nothing else added. 500g tub, 100 servings at 5g per scoop.
My take: I add a scoop to my morning HYDRO every day. Creatine works when you take it consistently. The micronised grind dissolves better than cheaper creatine powders that sit at the bottom of your glass like sand.
RECOVER — Post-Workout Shake
RECOVER is the post-training formula. A 2.4kg tub in Vanilla Ice Cream or Strawberry Cheesecake. This is designed to be consumed immediately after training when your body is primed for nutrient uptake. Contains a protein and carbohydrate blend for recovery.
Who it's for: Strength athletes in heavy training blocks who need to refuel fast. If you're training twice a day or doing strongman event days where the workload is massive, a dedicated recovery shake makes a difference versus just having protein alone.
JOINTS — Joint Support Formula
Contains glucosamine, chondroitin, and hyaluronic acid. These are the three most established ingredients for joint health support.
My take: If you're over 30 and lifting heavy, your joints will let you know about it. I've taken joint support supplements on and off for years. This formula covers the bases without overcomplicating things.
TEST — Testosterone Support
Beast Pharm TEST combines tribulus terrestris, pine pollen, Testofen (fenugreek extract standardised to 50% Fenuside), spilanthes, cistanche, selenium yeast, zinc citrate, and vitamin B6. All in HPMC capsules (vegan-friendly).
My take: Natural testosterone support supplements are a category where expectations need to be managed. None of these ingredients will produce steroid-like effects. What they can do is support your body's natural testosterone production, particularly if you're deficient in zinc, selenium, or B6 (which many people are). Testofen is the most clinically studied ingredient in this formula.
Accessories Worth Mentioning
Smelling Salts — if you compete in strength sports, you already know. Beast Pharm's are potent. Do not open these in a small room and do not hold them under your nose for more than a split second. They will wake you up.
Liquid Chalk — essential for gyms that don't allow regular chalk. Works well, lemon scented, washes off with soap and water.
Shaker Bottles — the Alpha Seal design is genuinely leak-proof. I've had cheap shakers ruin gym bags. These don't.
